Our Story
BERD DOG Co. was founded by Portland, Oregon dog trainer and behavior specialist, Bernard Kim. Our facility in West Slope/Beaverton, specializes in canine behavior — allowing our team to offer one-of-a-kind, high-quality training and daycare services to you and your dog.
Specifically, we are most sought-after for our behavior modification training with fearful and aggressive dogs. Our obedience training and board/train programs have helped rehabilitate some of the most challenging dogs in Portland and Seattle.
Bernard helped train Gus and US! He equipped us to handle stressful situations with a nervous pup, a feat other trainers weren’t able to accomplish.
Bernard has a deep understanding of dogs and dog behavior. He is an excellent coach and has been invaluable in helping us rehabilitate our rescue dog and her puppies.
